Rasberry Lemonade Smoothie

So I’ve been playing with smoothie recipes. This one is my favorite. You can lower the carb. count by swapping normal skim milk with Fairlife skim milk. I do that when I am tight on carbs. This one is thicker if you drink it right away. I usually take it to work for a morning snack.

Raspberry Lemonade Smoothie

1 cup frozen raspberries (also good with mixed berries)

1 cup skim milk

1 packet Crystal Light lemonade 

Mix ingredients together in blender and serve.

Fast Fiber Meal

So, I’ve been struggling with getting enough fiber in my diet. I need at least 25g of fiber a day to function…preferably 30. I bought All Bran, but hated to eat it with just milk. So I experimented. Here is my first success:

This yummy meal consists of the follow:

Just add all these ingredients in a bowl, stir, and eat. This is a quick meal with low calories and 15 grams of fiber!!! You can probably make it a smoothie, too. I tried it with cinnamon, but I think I like it better without.
