Cinnamon Cocoa

I used to be a big fan of Starbucks Chantico cocoa. That is what inspired this cocoa. You can lower the carb count by using Fairlife milk instead if you need to. This goes great with regular whipped cream. Whipped cream is lower in carbs than marshmallows, but make sure it isn’t the low fat versions. Low fat whipped cream has more carbs.

Cinnamon Hot Chocolate

2 T unsweetened cocoa

1/2 t. Corn starch

2 packets Splenda

1/4 t. Cinnamon (I use Viatnamese Cassia Cinnamon)

1 t. Vanilla (I use Mexican)

1 c. Skim milk

1 t. Butter, salted

Mix everything but the butter and milk in saucepan. Add a small amount of milk and blend until powder is desolved. Add rest of milk and butter and stir over medium low heat until butter is melted and mixture is heated (steams). Pour in mug and enjoy!
